York VIC - Visitor Information Centre - Interior Design, Interior Graphics, 3D

Completed in summer 2010, the £900,000 York Visitor Information is already being heralded as a leading example of innovation within the UK tourism industry. SoVibrant were appointed as interior and graphic design consultants to bring some of their renowned “WOW!” factor to the scheme.

The concept for the interior design was to create a language of wayfinding and orientation devices that effectively pulled people through the series of cellular spaces. SoVibrant worked to support the aspirations of the conservation team and planning department, contrasting the period details within the building and making a bold visual statement for Visit York.
