Home to Bahrain’s only 18 hole championship standard golf course, the Royal Golf Club Bahrain also offers additional facilities including award winning restaurants, a golf academy with full practice facilities, a golf and leisure shop, meeting and conference rooms and a country club.

This project involves a phased plan for the re-design and refurbishment of this high quality establishment’s leisure and hospitality facilities, and is a result of the development of a relationship with Bahrain-based Balmic Contracting Services. SoVibrant is now its preferred design partner enabling Balmic to provide a unique turnkey design, manufacture and construction service.

The Challenge

To develop a concept early on that captured the essence of what the client wanted to achieve. It involved developing the look and feel for both internal spaces and external terrace areas, with some significant structural intervention required to realise the design.

Creating a new design for each of the associated state-of-the-art spaces, SoVibrant’s Interiors team is working alongside its Brand and Experience experts to develop a name and visual brand for each of the areas, with the Media Productions team producing the 3D visualisation images that bring the ideas to life, helping to communicate the designs for each area to the client as well as for use in the club’s marketing activity.

The Results

The project is still ongoing. The completion target for the refurbishment is summer 2016.

“You have managed to capture what we were looking for and we have struggled to get that from local design teams – Eric Deladiennee – Director of Food & Beverages Royal Golf Club
