Background

Highcross Strategic Advisors, now known as Northwood Investors, approached SoVibrant to assist with the improvement of one of its properties to attract new tenants.

The Challenge

Located in in the centre of Edinburgh, the existing Grade II listed building interior was unwelcoming and quiet, with a melange of design styles. The signage needed updating and the brand was unclear.

Initially, the challenge was to create a new brand that people would connect with, one that is up-to-date. SoVibrant also undertook an office feasibility study and developed a bold interior scheme to complement the high quality exterior to attract high profile tenants and increase rental values. The team also integrated a bespoke marketing experience for agents to use whilst on viewings, with key installations explaining the history and significance of the building.

The Results

Following a highly successful refurbishment and re-brand, the building was fully let and Waverley Gate was put back on the map. The building is now home to Microsoft and NHS Scotland. The scheme includes a new reception and atrium space, marketing experience, brand identity, signage and feature graphics.

“The scheme looks fantastic – we are delighted – Julia Deans – Asset Manager – Highcross
