How patterned fabrics bring a commercial office interior to life
More and more workplaces are providing an ‘at home’ environment for employees and visitors and by adding features such as decorative light fittings and soft furnishings space is transformed. For one of our latest commercial office interior project’s we’ve been on the hunt for some lively patterned cushions and in particular an interesting geometric patterned fabric.
Fabrics used within the corporate commercial office interior often have to fit in with a more restricted interior colour palette, and the choice of patterns currently on the market is generally limited to stripes, dots or a textured tweed.
Having searched various contract furnishing upholstery fabric companies, and sifted through the stripes and dots in dark colours, I came across this geometric pattern by XXXXX, which fits in really well in the office environment we are designing.
Choosing a pattern enables us designers to pull a colour scheme together more easily and identify complementary plain furnishing fabrics. In this instance we want to use pattern to add interest to the office landscape fora contemporary dash of colour and design.
Will keep searching for more options but would love to hear your alternative suggestions.
